Every man wants his son to grow up to be just like him.  Kind, strong, smart, loving...and totally into Spiderman and 70's and 80's rock bands.  Well, at least my husband does. :)

Proof of Spring

Mother Nature is such a tease.  Just while I thought the cold and blustery days were behind us, today is a bitter reminder that the long pants and sweaters can't be tucked away in the far back of the closet quite yet.

Even on this cold and cloudy day, I still managed to find a glimmer of hope that Spring is well on its way!

This is my favorite picture taken in March 2011.  During this Spring/Easter themed photo shoot, both girls (my nieces) sat down playing with their Easter Eggs and just happened to look up with these hilarious expressions on their faces.  I was lucky enough to be ready with my finger on the shutter button.  I took a quick glance into my LCD screen and knew right away it would be a keeper!

This is what I love so much about photography.  Capturing those unpredictable and forever cherished moments that literally pass by in a split second.
