Gracie | Minneapolis Natural Light Child Portrait Photographer

I had been looking forward to this photo shoot ever since Gracie's mom contacted me almost 2 months ago (we are old high school friends that haven't seen each other in several years).  We had tried scheduling a session assuming we'd have some decent weather by our mid-April appointment, but alas, Minnesota does not always have the most predictable or dependable weather, so we canceled and re-scheduled for a later date.


The morning of our session greeted us with overcast skies, gusty winds, and some unseasonably cold weather (30 degrees...brrrrrrr).  After re-scheduling this photo shoot previously, I really didn't want to miss the opportunity to take Miss Gracie's 5 year portraits, so we agreed to take them indoors at her home with just a few outside.  So while the day was cloudy and chilly with snowflakes literally flying above my head as I made my way to their front door, we got it done.
